Where miraculous stories and tales of divine intervention are concerned, I’m normally a hard skeptic. We do live in a society plagued by charlatans and the highly suggestible, so it isn’t always wise to take many people’s claims without a grain of salt…or two…or five…or a whole bucket. However, there are some stories that you just can’t quite throw out or rationalize…and that’s precisely what Martha’s ended up being. Now, before you jump to any conclusions, these weren’t miracles of a grand, literal mountain moving, earth shattering sort. No, these were far more intimate and somewhat, dare I say, small, especially where what we normally think of as a miracle is concerned. But maybe these little miracles produced something far more amazing than moving a mountain ever could....
This story is the very very very short version of the life and times of one Martha Jeanette Rodriguez and her immigration to the USA.
This book was illustrated and written by L. K. Kladitis in association with the University of Dayton.
